A digital twin of my wardrobe

I built a digital twin of my wardrobe for my AI.

Yes, really.

Every item of clothing is recorded – with a photo, colour, material, formality level and inventory number. The interesting part: you discover things in your own wardrobe that you have not seen for years.

Apparently, I needed a database to look inside my own wardrobe.

My slogan is: Context is King. So I gave my AI context – in the form of a complete wardrobe: almost 300 recorded items, including 14 chinos, 26 jumpers, 13 jackets, 13 belts and 9 pairs of business shoes.

Every logistics professional knows the effect:

The better your inventory visibility, the less safety buffer you need. Apparently, the same applies to wardrobes.

Now I can ask it very specific questions:

- Plan outfits for special occasions

- Pack for a three-day business trip

- Suggest what perhaps no longer belongs in my wardrobe

As a result, I now even get a prepared outfit card – like the one accompanying this post.

Not everything that still fits still suits who I am.

Conversely, among the long-standing residents of the wardrobe are pieces that suddenly look current again.

We often talk about what new things AI can generate. It gets more interesting where it understands what already exists: it brings forgotten things back, spots gaps and questions habits.

Perhaps the most personal form of a digital twin:

It shows not just what you own. With enough context, it also shows which of those things still suits the person you are today.

When did you last really look at your own inventory – your wardrobe, calendar or customer list?
