Leadership does not begin with visions. It begins with words.

Leadership does not begin with visions. It begins with words.
Clear words, to be precise.

Anyone who wants to lead must provide direction — that is hardly a new insight. Yet surprisingly often, this is precisely what fails because messages are unclear: too much “perhaps”, too little direction.
Leadership lies between “perhaps” and “forward”.

Why?
Because “perhaps” stands for hesitation and a lack of commitment — while “forward” stands for clarity and direction. Leadership is decided in the space between them: those who turn ambiguity into direction lead. And that begins with language.

I have learnt that good leadership first reveals itself in communication.
Because the way I communicate determines my impact. And my impact determines how people follow me.

A team can cope with uncertainty — but not with a lack of clarity.
And clarity means reliability, rather than harshness.

What do you think?
How clear is your communication really — when it matters?
