The day before yesterday, Juliane Veltum and Tim Oberlies from Handwerk Next asked me in their latest podcast episode: What really holds AI back in the skilled trades?

My answer:

not the technology.

Before AI even becomes a question of tools, it needs a healthy combination of three things: Strategy.

Data.

People.

Anyone who delegates AI implementation to the IT department gets a tool without a foundation.

Craft businesses that really make progress with AI lead with conviction at the top — they do not wait. That is exactly what we discussed.

And speaking of conviction:

What Juliane and Tim accomplish alongside their regular jobs — whether Handwerk Next for the entire sector or their commitment to Dreiraum Coworking for the Korbach business region — is truly impressive. That deserves more than a LIKE 👍!
