Steve Jobs was right — what we are still missing with AI

The technologies of the future are here, but are you already using them meaningfully? Steve Jobs once said:

〰️
“You've got to start with the customer experience and work backwards to the technology.”
〰️

Yet with AI we often do the exact opposite: technology takes centre stage, and we are still looking for meaningful applications.

Technology without a purpose — a problem of our time
Studies show that only 15% of companies use AI effectively. Why? Often there is no clear understanding of how the technology can create real value. Putting “AI” into the strategy as a buzzword is not enough. What matters is starting with people’s needs — whether customers or employees.

How AI can create real value
We need a change of perspective: instead of asking “What can the technology do?”, we should ask “Which problems do we want to solve?” Only then can we use AI to improve processes, excite people and drive sustainable innovation. The path is demanding, but it takes us forward strategically as well as technologically.

Your perspective matters!
Are you already working with AI — or do you still see barriers? Which use cases interest you, or have you already implemented successfully? I look forward to your thoughts!
