A classic for greater effectiveness

For me, its core message remains highly relevant: “Führen, Leisten, Leben” by Fredmund Malik. One of the few books I have read several times.
At its heart are the ambition and principles of leaders’ effectiveness. Malik’s principles of effective leadership include:

1. Results orientation
2. Contribution to the whole
3. Concentration on a few things
4. Using strengths
5. Trust
6. Positive thinking

For me, EFFECTIVENESS was and remains THE goal of leadership. Throughout my own leadership career, I repeatedly asked myself: what do I want to achieve—what really matters? Even more important, though, is the question, and an honest answer to it: can I still make any difference here?

With that in mind: have a good start to an effective week!
