Not leading the pack – but with enormous potential!
It is no secret that Germany is not at the forefront of developing new technologies such as AI. The lead held by the US and China seems impossible to close. But that does not mean we have missed our chance.
On the contrary: Our strength lies in applying these technologies.
In industrial settings in particular, successful AI applications often depend on using corporate data to train models. And here we have a decisive advantage: We have an abundance of this data. By consistently using it, we can unlock enormous potential, particularly for increasing companies’ productivity and efficiency.
Now we need to roll these technologies out boldly and systematically – exactly where we are strong: in industry. This gives us the chance to lead in practical application and unlock value creation potential that brings real competitive advantages.
