“You need to change your attitude.”
Sounds simple – but it is not.
On a smartphone, we change settings with two taps.
Within ourselves? That takes considerably more than a few swipes.
Because attitudes are deeply embedded – running in the background like an operating system. And that is precisely why they have such a strong effect on our behaviour and results.
But: They can be changed.
Here are a few levers that really make a difference:
🔍 Self-observation
Change begins by recognising our own patterns.
Anyone who asks, “Why do I think or react this way?” often discovers surprising answers.
💬 Changing perspective
A good sparring partner or coach brings new viewpoints – and helps us question our own mindset.
🌱 New experiences
Experiences change more than any book. People who truly experience trust think differently about control.
🧭 Clarifying values
When my priorities shift, my attitude changes too – for example towards responsibility, risk or leadership.
👉 Change with a tap? Only on your phone.
In real life, it takes awareness, patience – and sometimes friction.
What has helped you change an attitude sustainably?
