The top three leadership books every leader should read 📚

As a leader, it is crucial to keep developing and finding inspiration. The right reading can help you gain new perspectives and reflect on your own leadership. Here are my personal top three books every leader should know:

1. “FĂŒhren, Leisten, Leben” by Fredmund Malik: Malik offers a comprehensive overview of the foundations of effective leadership and management. His approach emphasises clarity, structure and purposeful working. He explores principles of sound leadership that produce lasting success. This book is indispensable for anyone wanting to take their management skills to the next level.

2. “Leaders Eat Last” by Simon Sinek: Sinek examines why great leaders create a culture of trust and loyalty. Through examples from various industries, he shows how a safe workplace improves not only the working environment but also employee productivity and satisfaction. The book offers valuable insights into inspiring and motivating people over the long term.

3. “Dare to Lead” by BrenĂ© Brown: Brown emphasises courage, vulnerability and emotional intelligence in leadership. She shows that authentic leadership can inspire teams and create a deeper connection between leaders and employees. Her book invites readers to reflect on their leadership style and have the courage to lead openly and honestly.

These books offer practical tips and deep insights into the nature of leadership. They are essential reading for any leader who wants to develop.
