When things are on fire: objective. Decision. Measurement point. That is all you need — here are seven sentences for it.

Leaders must translate complexity into plain language — especially under pressure. This language toolkit fits any huddle.

A maximum of 12 words per sentence. Ready to use immediately:

  1. Objective in one sentence → "Service: complaints down 30% by Q1."
  2. Today we decide X. We park Y → Maintain focus, make the parking lot visible.
  3. Criteria before preferences → Score impact, effort and risk, then choose.
  4. Responsibility = decision + consequence → The decision-maker makes the adjustments.
  5. Firm on the issue, fair to the person → Support criticism with evidence, avoid labels.
  6. Speed without clarity is noise → Define "done" first, then start.
  7. Afterwards we measure A, B, C → Define success in advance, for example AHT, FCR and CSAT.
