❓When is it wise to hand over a decision – and when is it not?
Not every decision has to be made by us – and not every decision should be. Good leadership also means sharing responsibility and extending trust. But when does delegation make sense, and when does it leave us unable to act or without direction?
In complex organisations in particular, clarity about roles, decision-making scope and responsibility is essential. Because anyone who constantly decides everything themselves blocks others – and anyone who steps back too early can quickly appear weak as a leader.
How do you find the balance? When do you delegate decisions – and when do you deliberately take them on yourself?
Questions that change your game.
Every week, I ask a thought-provoking question to encourage reflection and exchange. I look forward to your answers and lively discussions.
Hands up – it’s the weekend!
