37 free working days a year? This projection deserves a second look.

I use Wispr Flow for emails, notes and first drafts. My projection so far amounts to 37 working days of theoretical annual potential.

Today, I would not use that figure in any business case as a saving already achieved. It is based on a comparison of input speeds. Corrections, thinking and revision have not yet been fully accounted for.

For me, that means timing the entire workflow: from the first thought to a text that is ready to send.

A useful comparison would be to type five similar emails and dictate five. Include review and rework in each case. With comparable quality, what counts is the total processing time.

Only then can we decide which tasks the new routine really works for. After all, faster text input does not automatically give you a free afternoon.

When calculating time saved with AI, do you include only creation or also the rework?
