Imagine buying a sports car — when you have never driven before.

Imagine buying a sports car — when you have never driven before.
Sounds absurd?
That is exactly what is happening with AI right now.
What I see in dozens of conversations:
GenAI is almost everywhere — adequate training almost nowhere.
The logic behind it?
"The tool is intuitive."
"People will learn it."
Here is the problem:
An AI tool without the skills is like a sports car without a driving licence.
You have horsepower. But no impact. The sports car stays in the garage.
On top of that, one size does not fit all. Board members, team leaders, specialists — each needs different training.
The uncomfortable truth: companies investing in tools now while cutting corners on enablement will discover in two years that they have paid dearly to park.
My takeaway from dozens of conversations:
It is not about more tools. It is about people learning to work differently with AI — not just use AI.
Hand on heart:
If you are honest, what percentage of your L&D budget currently goes into AI enablement?
↳ Above or below 10%?
