Sven-Gabor Jánszky says: New Work is dead. He is right — for the wrong reason.

The DGFP trend report ‘Beyond Beschäftigung’ promises 4 new employer roles:

  1. Augmentation architect.
  2. Ecosystem orchestrator.
  3. Human companion.
  4. Resonance curator.

Sounds like the future.

But it does not change an operating model yet.

The real change does not happen through new role labels.

It happens through 3 operating model decisions that need to be made today — and that are discussed almost everywhere, but decided almost nowhere:

  1. New decision rights: Who decides what people do and what agents do?
  2. New P&L logic: How is value creation measured when AI does 30% of the work?
  3. New compensation: What does an employee receive when AI delivers more output than they do?

If an AI agent takes over 40% of proposal work: Who receives the performance bonus?

These 3 questions are not new. But most companies do not decide them. They discuss them. In workshops. In strategy papers. In trend reports.

Discussed does not mean decided.

And as long as these questions remain open, every AI project remains an experiment without governance.

A question for managing directors and HR professionals here: Which of these 3 questions has actually been decided in your company today — not discussed, decided?
