What kind of people do you most enjoy working with?

I had never consciously thought about it. Until one day I came across a post by Jeff Weiner — at first it sounded less than entirely serious, rather funny. But the more I thought about it, the clearer it became that this precise combination is the key to successful collaboration: “Dream big”, “Get shit done” and “Know to have fun” — three qualities that, in my view, make for perfect collaboration.

1. Dream Big: Dreamers give teams the courage to think big and explore new possibilities. Many people have other qualities too and can take on different roles depending on the situation.
2. Get Shit Done: Doers make visions a reality. Without them, many ideas would remain mere thoughts.
3. Know to Have Fun: Those who bring humour are like salt in the soup. Of course, some people combine this role with being a doer or a dreamer.

The mix makes the difference!

In large projects, this combination has proved a formula for success time and again. My best experiences have been with people who dream big, deliver and create a good atmosphere along the way. Such “gems” are rare but indispensable.
